Powers Health in Munster, IN is seeking a Chargemaster (CDM) Coordinator for a full-time role with hybrid work, 8am–4:30pm shifts and an 80-hour pay period. The position focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining the Chargemaster to ensure regulatory compliance and revenue integrity.

You will partner with clinical and operational teams to optimize charge capture, provide education on coding and billing, support audits and CDM maintenance, and contribute to pricing and reimbursement

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• RHIT certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital coding and/or billing experience.
• Previous Chargemaster (CDM) experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of CPT/HCPCS coding and APC/DRG reimbursement methodologies.
• Knowledge of hospital revenue cycle processes, with emphasis on billing and charge capture.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Epic experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and research skills.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Effective communication skills with a service‑oriented approach across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure accuracy and compliance of the Chargemaster (CDM).
• Collaborate with departments to support optimal and compliant charge capture.
• Analyze workflows to identify revenue enhancement and compliance opportunities.
• Interpret and apply Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory billing requirements.
• Provide education and guidance to departments on coding, billing, and CDM updates.
• Support revenue cycle initiatives related to pricing, coding, and reimbursement.
• Assist in audits, reviews, and ongoing CDM maintenance activities.
