Job summary

Sysco Corp. in Houston is seeking a results-driven Category Manager who will develop and execute a comprehensive Category Plan across key ranges.

You will lead a cross-functional team, drive assortment strategy, and ensure alignment with customer needs and financial goals. Responsibilities include leading the 6-Step Category Management process, forecasting with the AOP, managing supplier reviews, and delivering sales growth through value, variety and innovation.

Qualifications

• 7 years related experience with 4 years of category management, product management or merchandising experience in CPG, Retail or Foodservice industry strongly preferred.
• A proven track record of leading direct and/or indirect associates a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the 6-Step Category Management process to drive sales growth and optimize assortment.
• Create and maintain rolling monthly forecasts using the AOP, performance data, and market trends.
• Develop Category Plans to achieve stated financial goals.
• Build and mentor cross-functional teams to deliver results and embrace change.
• Manage supplier relationships through regular business reviews and joint innovation.
• Lead customer engagements with sales-driven presentations to support profitable growth.
• Create insights-based field tools and participate in Market/OpCo reviews.
