Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in retail, wholesale or distribution.
• Experience executing category initiatives and supplier negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Execute Category Management initiatives within assigned categories.
• Support local assortment and supplier relationships to meet company goals.
• Communicate with planners, brokers, sales team and customer service.
• Promote local assortment and manage supplier relationships.
• Provide input and guidance to OpCo Sales Specialist.
• Facilitate corporate assortment training as required.
• Negotiate supplier-funded pricing and earned income programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing changes.
• Share market commodity/industry news with the sales organization.
