Job summary

Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington seeks a Case Management Supervisor to enhance client well‑being through coordinated services and quality oversight. The role supervises case management staff, interns, and volunteers, ensuring adherence to contracts and agency procedures.

You will support program operations, staff development, and CQI efforts while mentoring teams in strengths-based, person-centered approaches. A relevant master's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or related human services field; accredited program.
• At least 2 years in case management, mental health services, and direct service delivery.
• At least 2 years counseling/case management with homelessness or marginalized populations.
• Knowledge of social service delivery theories, principles, and practices.
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of case management experience may be considered with District approval.

Responsibilities

• Meet with case managers to plan, review cases and discuss engagement strategies.
• Facilitate client file reviews and satisfaction surveys for QA and supervision.
• Provide case management oversight and consultation to staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Model professional behavior and solution-focused approach; maintain positive attitude.
• Lead case conferences and skill-building meetings to build competencies.
• Collaborate with legal, medical, dental, housing, and educational providers for referrals.
• May share coaching and disciplinary actions with Sr. Program Manager, Social Services.
• Complete reports on time and maintain statistics; review data for accuracy.
• Contribute to CQI initiatives and ensure compliance with contracts and ethics.

Education

Master's Degree in Social Work / Mental Health Counseling / Human Services

Bachelor's Degree + 4 years relevant experience (District approval)

Supervisory and staff coaching

Computer skills (Windows PC environment)
