Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim in the United States is seeking a Cardiovascular-Renal Sales Consultant to drive brand growth for BI cardio-renal-metabolic products in targeted hospitals and clinics. You will develop and execute account plans, present clinical value, and collaborate with cardiology and nephrology teams to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires disease-state knowledge, hospital account experience, and willingness to travel across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with 1+ year in promoting cardiovascular and/or diabetes and/or nephrology products.
• Hospital and/or account management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and familiarity with database applications.
• Must be able to travel and reside in territory; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Executes brand strategies to ensure compliant sales messages to customers.
• Leverages cardiology, nephrology, diabetes knowledge to manage opportunities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of disease state, drivers, influencers, and prescribing patterns.
• Maintains effective communication with co-promotion partners and BI employees.
• Works with account teams and medical teams to meet customer needs and sales objectives.
• Delivers clinical value and solutions-based customer interactions within regulatory guidelines.
• Develops trust and value with customers; drives appropriate product utilization.
• Engages healthcare providers through a mix of personal and digital channels.
