Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Cardiovascular-Renal Sales Consultant to partner with cardiology and nephrology providers and hospital accounts in the United States. You will develop and implement plans to grow sales of BI cardio-renal-metabolic products, engaging healthcare professionals through in-person and digital channels.

The role requires 3+ years in pharmaceutical sales, hospital/account management experience, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with cardiovascular/diabetes/nephrology preferred.
• Hospital and/or account management experience desirable.
• Must be able to travel (overnight travel possible).

Responsibilities

• Executes brand strategies to ensure sales and marketing messages reach customers.
• Leverages cardiology, nephrology, diabetes knowledge to identify business opportunities.
• Demonstrates knowledge of disease states, drivers, influencers, and prescribing patterns in territory.
• Maintains effective communication with co-promotion partners and BI staff.
• Collaborates with account teams and medical teams to meet customer needs and drive sales objectives.
• Delivers clinical value, helping customers address patient care needs within regulatory guidelines.
• Engages customers for information outside standard visits and builds trust with stakeholders.
• Drives appropriate utilization of approved CRM products and coordinates pull-through with payers and hospitals.
