Type One Energy Group is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to create 3D models and technical drawings for its stellarator fusion devices. You will translate engineering requirements into integrated CAD configurations and collaborate with engineers and scientists to ensure accurate fabrication documentation.

The role supports fabrication with a hybrid work policy and competitive benefits. You will have opportunities to contribute across Knoxville, Woburn, and Madison locations.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree or BS degree in Engineering and 5 years of design related experience or equivalent design experience.
• Five years of experience using commercial CAD software and understanding GD&T.
• Proficiency with Siemens NX is preferred.
• Experience with fusion energy systems and equipment is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with engineers, program managers, and sponsors.

Aufgaben

• Translate mechanical design requirements into integrated 3D configuration models.
• Develop interfaces between stellarator systems and resolve conflicts.
• Develop accurate CAD models based on given specifications.
• Convert CAD models into technical drawings for fabrication with clear callouts.
