Job summary

The Community Group (TCG) in Massachusetts seeks a Director of CACFP to ensure federally compliant nutrition services across center-based, out-of-school time, and family child care programs. The role leads nutrition operations, oversees meal procurement, and coordinates with state and federal authorities to maintain compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have prior USDA CACFP experience and deep knowledge of regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work with colleagues.
• Ability to complete CORI and other required background checks.
• Certifications as required by DESE and USDA.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meals meet USDA nutrition standards and oversee program reviews.
• Manage program records, budgets, and reporting; implement systems for records and reports.
• Conduct audits of staff and program documentation.
• Provide staff development on food safety and nutritional standards; schedule annual trainings.
