Job summary

Project Bread seeks a Child Nutrition Program Associate to expand access to quality nutrition across Massachusetts. The role involves outreach, research, and administrative support across CACFP, Summer Eats, and School Breakfast programs.

The position is hybrid, based in East Boston with statewide travel. Strong organizational and relationship-building skills are essential, with a commitment to solving hunger and promoting equity in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with a range of audiences.
• Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-changing environment.
• Experience collaborating with external partners such as school districts and community organizations.

Responsibilities

• Program Outreach & Support: develop partnerships and expand Summer Eats in targeted communities.
• Assist in developing partnerships with local leaders, districts and organizations for new program sites.
• Help implement outreach strategies to increase participation in child nutrition programs.
• Execute research projects to inform CACFP expansion and outreach programming.
• Administrative support: plan and evaluate Summer Eats Conference; manage program materials and data.
• Organizational responsibilities: support Walk for Hunger events and participate in organization-wide activities.
