Job summary

GCG Custom Engineered Solutions is seeking a Buyer to join our Leominster, MA procurement team. You will plan and purchase raw materials to support cable assembly operations, maintain inventory levels, manage costs, and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, PO execution, demand signaling, and data integrity within ERP systems. Hybrid in Leominster with in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Execution & Order Management: Manage purchase orders from requisition through receipt, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with production requirements.
• Material Planning & Inventory Management: Review MRP outputs in Oracle to plan and maintain appropriate inventory levels for assigned commodities.
• Supplier Management & Sourcing: Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate pricing and lead times.
• Operational & Cross-Functional Support: Partner with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules.
• Maintain data and fidelity within ERP and procurement systems.
