Job summary

San Diego State University’s Enrollment Services is seeking a Business Systems Analyst I to support business and systems analysis, data analysis, query development, testing, and operational support for Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Records.

Under supervision, you will document processes, gather requirements, analyze needs, support PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and related systems, develop SQL queries, test updates, and prepare documentation while protecting data governance and security.

Qualifications

• Experience in the business analysis of processes, applications, or projects.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to analyze data.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with multiple priorities.
• Experience in higher education or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather information and document processes and requirements.
• Provide routine operational support for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries and reports.
• Prepare test cases and assist with testing system updates.
• Analyze data to identify process improvements.
• Create business specifications and training materials.
