Innosoft Corporation is seeking a Business Analyst / Quality Assurance Analyst – Advanced to join the Division of Technology Services in South Carolina. The role blends BA and QA functions in an agile setting, gathering requirements, validating functionality, and coordinating testing across teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in business analysis and software testing, plus familiarity with government programs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science or related field, or equivalent extensive relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience with business process analysis, requirements documentation, workflow development and stakeholder communication.
• 5+ years of experience with software QA/testing, including test design, execution, defect tracking, reporting and test-result documentation.
• 7+ years of experience of software analysis/testing and customized test procedure experience.
• 2+ years of experience in business process design.
• 5+ years of experience with each of the following tools: TFS, Visual Studio, SQL Server, MSProject, Balsamiq, Microsoft Office and legacy systems.
• Previous experience working within State, Federal, and/or local government.

Responsabilidades

• Gather, analyze and refine business and technical requirements, user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Map business processes and workflows; prepare functional specifications, diagrams, reports and user documentation.
• Evaluate existing practices, system capabilities and controls; recommend improvements and resolve requirement gaps.
• Translate policy and operational needs for technical teams and explain technical changes to business stakeholders.
• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts and test cases for new or modified software, including regression and integration testing.
• Validate solutions against documented requirements and quality standards; identify, record, track and retest defects.
• Review application logs, database records and performance data to investigate errors and verify expected behavior.
• Create automated tests and maintain test suites when appropriate; document test coverage, outcomes and corrections.
• Coordinate with development teams on defect resolution, release readiness, user acceptance and post-implementation validation.
