Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Building Automation Solutions Developer in a hybrid role. You will assist sales with scope development, help create cost estimates, and interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams to optimize building energy efficiency through BAS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience in sales, estimating, field work, or design engineering in support of Building Automation Systems (HVAC).
• Knowledge/aptitude of Building Automation Systems components (controllers, sensors, etc.) and energy optimization.
• HVAC and mechanical systems knowledge with building automation concepts.
• Proficiency in reading mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans and specs; familiarity with BAS.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales with scope development on opportunities not fully defined by plans.
• Develop scope of work for Siemens proposals with attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Understand BAS to optimize energy efficiency through automation/controls and mechanical system analysis.
• Assist with estimating and cost reviews, including substitutions that meet specs.
