Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years in sales, estimating, field, or design engineering in BAS/HVAC.
• Knowledge of BAS components and HVAC/mechanical systems.
• Ability to travel nationwide up to 20%.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist sales with scope development for opportunities lacking full details.
• Develop scope of work for Siemens proposals with problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams effectively.
• Understand Building Automation Systems and optimize energy efficiency via automation.
• Evaluate material and pricing to suggest performance-based substitutions.
• Communicate risks in products, installation, and commissioning during cost reviews.
• Assist with sequence of operations development and product selection.
• Interpret customer drawings/specs and suggest cost-saving alternatives.
• Participate in customer site visits (in-person or remote).
• Coordinate estimating with the estimator and align with local operations.
