Job summary

Carrier's Automated Logic division in Indiana seeks a Building Automation Hardware Engineer to design BAS hardware, wiring diagrams, and controller details. You will collaborate with software, graphics, project management, and field teams to deliver robust building automation solutions for commercial facilities.

The role reports to the Branch Engineering Supervisor and offers growth into senior engineering paths while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in HVAC or BAS controls.
• Strong understanding of building systems and sequences of operation.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, and architectural documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop BAS hardware design documentation including controller layouts and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with standards, safety, and project requirements.
• Support project delivery through design, documentation and communication.
• Pursue continuous improvement of hardware engineering practices.
