Carrier is seeking a Building Automation Hardware Engineer for Automated Logic Corporation in Indiana. You will develop BAS hardware designs, including wiring diagrams and controller layouts, and coordinate with software, graphics, and field teams to deliver robust automation solutions.

The role emphasizes independent execution of standard BAS tasks, quality control of engineering deliverables, and collaboration across departments to ensure successful project outcomes and timely documentation

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in HVAC or BAS controls.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, building automation, or related engineering field.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and architectural construction documents.
• Experience selecting and applying BAS controllers, sensors, peripherals, actuators, relays, and network devices.
• Knowledge of BAS hardware engineering standards and templates.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop BAS hardware design documentation, including controller layouts, wiring diagrams, point schedules, and control panel details.
• Identify and apply appropriate BAS components based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with software, graphics, project management, and field teams to support hardware designs and project execution.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Maintain submittal documentation with revisions and field changes.
