Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.
• Experience with Workday and Peoplesoft applications.
• Knowledge of CUNY, New York City and New York State budget procedures.
• Experience with budgeting, financial planning and analysis, payroll projection, staffing analysis, revenue and expenditure monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including advanced Excel.
• Ability to reconcile financial and payroll information across source systems and internal tracking tools.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review annual and multi-year financial plans and provide quarterly reports and forecasts.
• Maintain college resource and expenditure files and support documentation and reporting.
• Manage biweekly payroll projections and quarterly personnel services forecasts and address variances.
• Monitor budgets, staffing, attrition, position counts, tuition and fee revenue, and enrollment trends.
• Prepare analyses and management reports on staffing, enrollment, revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
• Develop revenue forecasting models and collaborate with stakeholders to validate assumptions.
• Review business processes and recommend improvements to strengthen efficiency and controls.
• Conduct complex ad hoc analyses to support executive decision-making.
• Serve as liaison to college budget leadership and coordinate with budget directors and administration.
• Collaborate with Workday project teams and may supervise subordinate staff.
