Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and eight years' related experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in budget development, financial planning, forecasting, modeling, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Supervisory experience with ability to lead and develop staff while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal skills; able to communicate complex financial information.
• Experience developing financial models, forecasts and budget projections to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Direct Budget Office staff to ensure adherence to financial plans and budget guidelines.
• Lead development, administration and monitoring of the annual operating budget.
• Oversee personnel transactions for budget development, salary forecasting and vacancy management.
• Prepare forecasts, multi-year projections, scenario analyses and variance reports.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasting tools and budget templates.
• Compile financial information from multiple funding sources for all funds budget.
• Oversee timely distribution of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Purchasing, HR and other offices on reporting and budget execution.
