Qualifications

• Nine years of professional experience in budget development, execution and report development.
• Four years in public sector budgeting and accounting (may run concurrent with the nine years).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables and charts, VLOOKUP, IF/SUMIF).
• The ability to take action to learn and grow.
• The ability to take action to meet the needs of others.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the program’s key budget analyst to executives and PMO leadership.
• Lead program budget planning and forecast financial impacts.
• Compile and create financial reports, analyze and monitor budget.
• Analyze budget for actual spending and variances; maintain spending within the budget.
• Adjust projections and spending plans according to revenues/expenses.
• Provide timely executive-level financial information for the program.
• Develop and maintain monthly/quarterly financial reports and other on-demand reporting.
• Analyze appropriations and reconcile with funding authorities; write fiscal notes.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual revenue & expenditure reports.
• Present monthly/quarterly financial results to executives and program leadership.
