Job summary

The Campaign Finance Board is seeking a Budget Analyst to support budget development, monitoring, and reconciliation, including the matching funds program. Based at 100 Church Street in Lower Manhattan with a hybrid schedule, you will analyze expenditures and prepare financial insights for leadership.

Strong Excel, FMS3, and Info Advantage skills are essential, as is the ability to work across departments and present complex data clearly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and city campaign finance laws and compliance.
• FMS3, Info Advantage, and Crystal Reports proficiency.
• Knowledge of budget processes and payments procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and submission of the annual agency budget and matching funds program.
• Reconcile quarterly spending plans and enterprise budgets.
• Run FMS3/Info Advantage reports and create ad hoc analyses for stakeholders.
• Maintain PS, IPAR, and vacancy data across units.
• Review COFs, encumbrances, and PRFs for funding availability.
• Monitor contract spending and provide budget status updates.
