Medical Mutual in Brooklyn, OH, is seeking a broker-focused support professional for a hybrid role with three days on-site. You will respond to broker inquiries, assist Account Managers in meetings, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve enrollment, billing, and plan questions.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree and 3 years of customer service or sales support, preferably in health insurance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Equivalent education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree.
• 3 years of customer service and/or sales/account management support experience, preferably in the health insurance industry and/or dealing with insurance brokers.

Responsibilities

• Responds to broker inquiries via phone and e-mail regarding enrollment, billing/refunds, broker portal troubleshooting, marketing materials, plan benefits, claims, etc.
• Develops and maintains effective business relationships with assigned brokers to achieve annual retention targets.
• Collaborates with Account Manager and attends external sales meetings/presentations with broker agencies, as well as internal corporate meetings and projects.
• Generates and distributes reports from broker portal and other systems to brokers and agencies.
• Maintains awareness of product and process changes and Health Care Reform topics by participating in staff meetings and webinars and independent research.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
