Mack & Associates, Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its accounting and finance team in Rolling Meadows, IL.

This hybrid position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000, based on experience, and involves managing financial records and day-to-day accounting operations for investment entities, trusts, and closely held businesses. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's in accounting or finance, 5+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong Excel skills and accounting

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial records, and reconciliation processes.
• Experience assisting with tax preparation for individuals, partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations, and trusts.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in-office three days per week.

Mansioni

• Maintain accurate financial records for investment companies, trusts, and related entities while ensuring timely and organized reporting.
• Prepare and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledger accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable while researching and resolving discrepancies.
• Support tax preparation efforts for individuals, partnerships, S Corporations, C Corporations, and trusts by gathering information and assisting with compliance requirements.
• Assist with accounting compliance activities, including preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and supporting audits and regulatory reviews.
• Review financial activity, including revenues and expenses, to help identify trends and ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Provide financial information and reporting support to leadership to assist with operational efficiency and business planning.
