Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Staff Accountant in Chicago, IL for a hybrid, permanent role. The position offers a competitive salary of $60,000–$70,000 with an annual bonus and stock, plus a 401(k) match, generous PTO, and full health benefits.

The candidate will record journal entries, assist with payables/receivables, and support payroll-related bookkeeping. Strong Excel skills and NetSuite experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Ideally 1–4 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, agricultural, or industrial settings is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Record journal entries and post to the general ledger.
• Support payables and receivables workflows.
• Contribute to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Assist with payroll-related bookkeeping activities.
