Job summary

MOREgroup is seeking a BIM Analyst to join the Digital Practice Technology team. The role focuses on turning model data into actionable insights, automating workflows, and advancing design-technology capabilities for both Digital Practice and Project Delivery teams.

The candidate will design automation, develop data pipelines, and build dashboards to monitor model health, quality, and metrics, while mentoring staff in scripting and data practices. Hybrid work in US offices is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in AEC design technology BIM or software development in a project-based environment.
  • Proficiency in Python or C with hands-on experience in the Revit API, Dynamo/Grasshopper, and Autodesk Platform Services.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using in-house developed add-ins, Python/C, and the Revit API to streamline production workflows and reduce repetitive effort.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that extract, transform, and centralize model and project data from Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and adjacent platforms.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that deliver model health data, quality, and practice metrics to definitions set with BIM Operations and Digital Practice leadership.
  • Serve as the technical escalation resource for firm-developed tools, add-ins, and automated workflows.
  • Mentor staff in scripting, data practices, and technology workflows; build automation literacy through coaching and documentation.
  • Analyze BIM data to identify workflow inefficiencies, standards deviations, and opportunities for automation across the practice.
  • Administer and integrate design technology platforms via APIs (Autodesk Platform Services) and support interoperability between firm systems.
  • Evaluate, prototype, and benchmark emerging technologies in support of firm R&D initiatives; document findings and adoption paths.
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment packages, and version control for firm-developed tools and scripts.
  • Partner with the Digital Practice Services team to gather requirements, pilot solutions with project teams, and support rollout and training.
