Job summary

Hunter Hamilton is seeking a Billing Clerk for a hybrid role in NW Houston, combining in-office days with remote Fridays. The contract-to-hire position supports accurate invoicing, credits, re-bills, PO verification, and processing NAV invoices.

You will handle daily and monthly client billing, manage cycles, respond to inquiries, and assist AR and Cash Application teams. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, familiarity with SOX, and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years Accounts Receivable and billing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate client billing on a daily and monthly basis.
• Manage billing cycles to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
• Respond to billing inquiries from clients and internal teams; resolve escalations as needed.
• Work independently to complete daily tasks and support AR and Cash Application teams.
• Upload required backup documentation to NAV for invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Support portal-based customers (Open Invoice, Ariba, Oildex).
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
