Holland & Hart LLP is seeking a Billing Specialist in Denver to manage client billing using accounting software, e-billing, and third‑party sites. You will support attorneys and staff to ensure accurate time and disbursement entries and meet tight deadlines.

The role requires 3+ years of related experience or an associate degree, strong MS Office skills, and meticulous attention to detail. Hybrid work is available after an initial in-office period.

Qualifications

• 3 years of related experience or Associate Degree and equivalent experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting software and basic accounting principles.
• Analytical skills to apply knowledge to practical situations and foresee problems.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines accurately.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ten-key skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills for prioritizing and completing bills.
• Good interpersonal/communication skills to work with all firm levels.
• Dependability and positive attitude with team spirit.
• Need for absolute confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and handles all aspects of billing for specified attorneys and/or clients.
• Assists attorneys and staff with billing questions.
• Works with clients on billing guidelines and e-billing setup.
• Processes time, disbursement, and billing reports.
• Reviews client intake memos for billing guidelines and data accuracy in databases.
• Assists with researching client credit and trust amounts; reconcilations.
• Assists with month-end accounting functions.
• Performs back-up duties for Client Accounting team.
• Maintains proficiency in accounting software and MS Word/Excel; participates in training.
