Job summary

The Grainger Technology Group (GTG) internship is a 10-week, paid program based in our downtown Chicago office, where interns collaborate across teams to help build technology that keeps Grainger and its customers moving.

As a GTG intern, you will be treated as a team member and contribute to real customer and business outcomes, gaining hands-on exposure to modern data platforms, analytics tools, and AI-enabled workflows. You will learn from experienced mentors and peers throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in analytics or related fields with expected graduation Dec 2027–Jun 2028.
• Experience with data analysis using BI tools or programming languages is a plus.
• Strong communication and storytelling with data.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cross-functional analytics projects across digital channels.
• Build reports, dashboards, and visualizations for stakeholders.
• Analyze data from large digital and business ecosystems to generate insights.
