Job summary

Parkland Health is hiring a BI Developer III in Dallas, TX. The role is hybrid with at least two days in the office.

You will design, test, and implement high-value BI solutions, generate reports, and use modern BI tools to deliver analytics for clinical and operational customers. You will work with EMR data, SQL/PL-SQL, and BI tooling like Power BI and Epic development, ensuring timely ITSM incident resolution and clear customer communication.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 48 months of IT healthcare database support experience; or a master’s degree with 24 months experience.
• Experience with an integrated EMR in a healthcare setting is required.
• 3+ years in BI tools including Power BI and Epic development; 3+ years SQL/PL-SQL and reporting tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and implement BI solutions to meet analytic needs.
• Develop reports using standard BI tools and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to understand business processes and capture requirements.
• Resolve ITSM incidents within SLA timelines and communicate effectively.
