We are seeking a Power BI Developer with 3–5 years of experience to support analytics and reporting initiatives for a hospital or healthcare provider organization. This role focuses on delivering high-quality dashboards, reports, and data models that support clinical, operational, financial, and supply chain decision-making.

The ideal candidate has experience working with healthcare data in a provider setting, understands hospital workflows, and can translate business requirements into actionable visual insights using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support hospital operations, finance, supply chain, and clinical leadership.
• Translate business and operational requirements into effective data visualizations and self-service reporting solutions.
• Ensure dashboards are intuitive, performant, and aligned with healthcare reporting standards.
• Develop and maintain semantic models using Power BI datasets.
• Create and optimize DAX measures and calculations.
• Use Power Query to extract, transform, and load data from multiple healthcare data sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reports.
• Work with healthcare provider data sources such as EHR systems, financial systems, supply chain platforms, and operational databases.
• Support reporting related to patient volume, utilization, quality metrics, finance, staffing, and supply chain performance.
• Understand and apply healthcare terminology and metrics in reporting solutions.
• Partner with clinical, operational, finance, supply chain, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and validate reporting outputs.
• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and troubleshooting for Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Assist with user training and adoption of Power BI self-service analytics.
• Follow data governance, security, and privacy standards, including HIPAA considerations.
• Optimize report performance and apply Power BI best practices for enterprise deployments.
• Support deployment processes, workspace management, and role-based security.

Required Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience developing solutions using Power BI.
• Strong experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
