Progressive is dedicated to helping employees move forward and live fully in their careers. As a claims adjuster specialist, you’ll play a critical role managing attorney represented bodily injury claims in New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing an inventory independently and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages, and working directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Or Associate's degree with three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Or Bachelor's degree with one year in claims handling.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Determines coverage and liability.
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys.
• Settle claims and set reserves.
• Estimate costs of treatment or compensation for those injured in accidents.
• Analyze medical reports and manage the claims process to ensure efficient resolution.
• Interview, collect and document information from claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police.
