Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Benefits Analyst to support day-to-day administration of benefit plans. You will analyze and administer plans, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and assist with open enrollment and program implementations.

The role emphasizes data reporting, budgeting collaboration, and ensuring accuracy in enrollment and premium deductions. Hybrid work is required with four days onsite at our Phoenix headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience related to benefit plan administration, finance, or HR Systems.
• Workday experience is a plus.
• Benefits certification such as CBP, CEBS, ASPPA or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Strong business and financial acumen with superb analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relational databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with HR systems and vendors to ensure data accuracy for reporting.
• Prepares benefits information using Excel, Workday and other systems for metrics and reports.
• Analyzes enrollments and performs ad hoc data analysis for decision making.
• Reviews vendor invoicing and supports budgeting and related processes.
• Maintains enrollment/payroll records and ensures premium deductions are correct.
• Assists with monthly/annual budget data management and open enrollment.
• Resolves or escalates system issues and participates in vendor implementations.
