Job summary

The Santa Fe Recovery Center in Santa Fe, NM seeks a full-time Behavioral Therapist to deliver individual and group therapy for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The role offers hybrid work with some remote flexibility, and involves assessments, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and documentation.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in case conferences, and coordinate care with community partners while contributing to program development

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis with ability to design and implement behavior interventions.
• Background in Psychology or related field; knowledge of substance use and co-occurring disorders.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to build therapeutic relationships.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and/or families in behavioral health settings.
• Licensure or eligibility in NM preferred; supervision candidates may be considered.
• Experience with evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing) and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with community organizations.
• Strong documentation, organizational and time-management skills; comfortable with EMR.
• Commitment to culturally responsive, non-discriminatory care and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy for clients with substance use and related mental health disorders.
• Conduct assessments and develop/implement treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team; participate in case conferences.
• Coordinate care with community partners; contribute to program development and quality improvement.
