Job summary

Affect-Therapeutics is seeking a Telehealth Substance Use Disorder Counselor licensed in New Mexico to deliver evidence-based care remotely. This role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered treatment, flexible scheduling, and sustainable caseloads to support recovery.

In a fully remote setting, you will conduct intake assessments, provide virtual counseling, ensure HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with supervisors on treatment planning and discharge while maintaining high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience working with substance use disorder populations.
• Comfort providing care via telehealth platforms.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and evaluate Member readiness for care.
• Facilitate virtual individual and group counseling sessions using Affect’s evidence-based curriculum.
• Provide crisis support and coordinate referrals when needed.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EMR.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors on treatment planning and discharge.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable state regulations.
