Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of relevant medical office experience required.
• Florida Medicaid regulations knowledge preferred.
• Must work independently with good decision-making skills.
• HIPAA guidelines and confidentiality knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure behavioral health claims are uploaded accurately and timely.
• Verify member eligibility, benefits limits, and authorizations.
• Explain benefits to providers and respond to claims inquiries by phone, fax, and mail.
• Develop and maintain relationships with providers and respond to audits within deadlines.
