HeartShare is seeking a Billing Specialist II in New York to manage Medicaid claims, attendance, and billing reconciliations. You will collaborate with program staff, the Banking Team, and Fiscal Department to ensure accurate, timely invoicing and HIPAA compliance. Hybrid schedule and 35-hour work week, in-office and remote.

A high school diploma and 2–5 years of experience in billing, with strong Excel and Medicaid systems knowledge, are preferred.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 2–5 years in Billing Clerk/Specialist or similar financial role.
• Experience with Medicaid systems and HIPAA compliance.

Mansioni

• Submit weekly/monthly Medicaid billing for multiple programs.
• Reconcile attendance with billing records and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with staff to resolve denied/pending claims and billing errors.
• Reconcile cash receipts and verify payments; prepare deposits and invoices.
