Job summary

Murata Electronics seeks a Business Development Engineer to represent Murata's products through technical and application support and to work with the sales team to achieve design-in at customers. The role requires understanding market needs and supporting pricing, product promotion, and distribution strategies.

You will contribute to Murata’s leadership in North America by creating technical materials, delivering training, and tracking market trends while traveling locally and occasionally

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Effective presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Strong time management, judgment, problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and application support to enable design-in for Murata products.
• Promote products and coordinate with sales to match customer programs with Murata’s lifecycle.
• Support pricing discussions and price book development with the manager.
• Assist in recognizing total demand and develop strategies to expand market coverage.
• Research market needs and participate in cross-product marketing road map efforts.
• Support technical issues and quality claims with QC and quote centers.
