Job summary

Qualifications

• Seniors or grads pursuing degree in business, nonprofit management, sales, marketing, event planning, public relations, or public health with a fundraising focus.
• Comfortable with outreach and public speaking (phone and emails to vendors and donors; presenting).
• Experience/interest in promotion, sales, or fundraising.
• Experience with event planning.
• Strong one-on-one and group communication; able to work with leaders, volunteers, and staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Canva.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development and implementation of fundraising activities, logistics, and administrative support for the Bay Area market.
• Support fundraising campaigns with Development and Operations teams.
• Assist with event auctions; outreach for donations; organizing items.
• Organize and plan health education events for companies.
• Assist with pre-campaign planning, day-of-event execution, and post-campaign wrap-up.
• Make external calls and emails to donors, volunteers, and third-party vendors.
• Work within event support systems to manage data entry and reports.
• Develop and update marketing materials (save the dates, invitations, social posts, volunteer rosters).
• Assist with volunteer management including meetings (in-person and virtual).
• Conduct prospect research to generate new leads for campaigns.
