Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at a U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry or Materials Science.
• Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
• Duration: Summer 2027.
• Up to 40 hours per week.
• Hybrid internship—quiet workspace, option to work in the office.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support the investigation and evaluation of potential battery cell suppliers and emerging energy storage technologies.
• Perform cell teardowns to understand chemistry and mechanical cell designs.
• Help develop test plans and monitor cell testing activities.
• Collaborate with the cell test team to coordinate testing and collect performance data.
• Analyze test results and create reports, presentations, and data visualizations to communicate findings.
