Job summary

Clarios seeks a summer manufacturing engineering intern for its Meadowbrook, MI facility. You will support installation, commissioning, and validation of an automated assembly line, assisting with PLC interfacing and test strategy development.

This onsite role offers hands-on exposure to APQP-style tasks and cross-functional collaboration. The position is full-time during Summer 2027 (up to 40 hours/week) for current students pursuing Electrical Engineering or related fields, with legal work

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering, EET/MET dual degree, and/or related field.
• Duration: Summer 2027. Up to 40 hours per week.
• Working Arrangements: On-site at Meadowbrook, MI manufacturing facility.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

What You Will Do

• Reviewing and updating mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Assisting with the PLC programming and interfacing with OT and IT systems.
• Completing manufacturing engineering tasks described in APQP process for Phase 3/4
• Creating and managing Open Issues Lists with vendors and internal customers.
