Job summary

Kelly is seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist who can make an impact. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, drive timely payments, review credit applications, and assess risk while supporting branch locations and sales teams.

Hybrid on Fridays in Houston, TX; 7-week assignment with a payrate of $28.00–$33.00 per hour. Candidates should have 5–7 years in B2B credit/collections, strong communication, detail orientation, and the ability to resolve billing discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in B2B credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related field.
• Experience managing customer accounts and collecting delinquent balances.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, credit applications, credit limits, and risk assessment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience researching and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Ability to collaborate with customers, sales teams, and internal partners.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Associate degree or relevant technical certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and drive timely payments.
• Review credit applications, evaluate creditworthiness, assess risk, and set credit limits.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment disputes.
• Coordinate with sales and branches to resolve balances while maintaining relationships.
• Monitor credit holds and coordinate timely order releases per policies.
• Review credit files, trade references, delinquent accounts, and documentation for compliance.
• Identify collection challenges and support receivables improvements.
