The role involves collaboration with sales teams and branches, reviewing credit applications, and ensuring adherence to credit policies while delivering excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in B2B credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related field.
• Experience managing customer accounts and collecting delinquent balances.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, credit applications, credit limits, and risk assessment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience researching and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Ability to collaborate with customers, sales teams, and internal partners.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Associate degree or relevant technical certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, follow up on past-due balances, and drive timely payments.
• Review credit applications, evaluate customer creditworthiness, assess risk, and recommend credit limits.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, account reconciliation issues, and customer payment disputes.
• Work with sales teams and branch locations to resolve balances while maintaining relationships.
• Monitor credit holds and coordinate timely order releases within credit policies.
• Review credit files, trade references, delinquent accounts, and supporting documents for compliance.
• Identify collection challenges, follow up on outstanding invoices, and support receivables improvement.
