LHH is seeking a Collections Specialist in New Jersey for a 3‑month contract with potential for extension. The role sits on the Accounts Receivable team, focusing on business-to-business collections, customer account management, and accounting operations.

The ideal candidate will communicate clearly, manage account relationships, and maintain meticulous records. Hybrid work arrangement applies, with in-office days after the first 30 days on site, and strong emphasis on meeting collection goals

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Customer service experience required.
• Prior AR/collections or cash-application experience preferred.
• Leasing industry experience a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Make high-volume outbound calls to business customers about outstanding balances.
• Manage B2B collections and maintain customer relationships.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies and payment issues.
• Support cash application and accounts receivable processes.
• Document collection efforts and account activity accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment concerns.
• Prepare and maintain reports using Excel and other tools.
• Provide excellent customer service while meeting collection goals and deadlines.
• Communicate professionally in writing and verbally.
