Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing financial services organization in Bethesda, MD. This hybrid role requires four days onsite per week and focuses on building and modernizing secure, scalable Azure infrastructure while supporting cloud-native and serverless transitions.

You will design, deploy, and optimize Azure networking, IaC pipelines, disaster recovery, and security controls, collaborating with application, security, and IT teams to advance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure or related roles.
• Hands-on production Azure experience.
• Proven Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Strong Azure networking and security knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain Azure infrastructure for enterprise apps.
• Develop and manage IaC using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar.
• Design secure Azure networking (VNets, Private Link, Private Endpoints).
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity in Azure.
• Modernize legacy infrastructure toward serverless and PaaS.
• Support Azure subscription for enterprise integrations and APIs.
• Collaborate with application, security, and IT teams on cloud architecture.
