Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security Assurance Services seeks a Manager, Security Assurance Solutions Architect to build and lead a high-performing team focused on governance, risk, compliance and security across customer workloads migrating to the cloud.

The role combines strategy with hands-on delivery, educating customers and AWS partners on how to automate compliance, manage risk, and enforce security controls while advancing the Security Assurance practice across multiple business lines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise IT application work with hands-on software development or DevOps
• 2+ years architecting/operating cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)
• 8+ years in technology solutions development and IT transformation
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field
• Experience leading and growing senior technology teams, customer-facing
• Experience with NIST, FedRAMP, CMMC cloud environments (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Builds teams that deliver governance, risk, compliance and security objectives.
• Defines security, compliance, and risk management approaches for customers moving to the cloud.
• Leads engagements to resolve security assurance questions and manage risk in AWS environments.
• Leads efforts with AWS engineering, support, and business teams for roadmap input.
• Builds long-lasting customer relationships supporting Business Development and Customer Success.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
