Job summary

Achieva Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Project Management to lead and grow the PMO, guiding enterprise-wide initiatives from strategy through execution. The role emphasizes collaboration with executives and business leaders to align priorities and resources.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in project/portfolio management, 5+ years of team leadership, and PMO experience, with a Bachelor’s degree and PMP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive project, program, or portfolio management experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading teams and complex organizational initiatives.
• Experience supporting and leading a Project Management Office (PMO).
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP Certification Required Or Strongly Preferred; Financial institution experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Project Management team.
• Provide oversight and direction for enterprise-wide projects and strategic initiatives.
• Drive project and portfolio governance, prioritization, reporting, and resource planning.
• Leverage current project management technology and portfolio tools to improve visibility, collaboration, and decision-making.
• Partner with executive and business leaders across Achieva to keep priorities aligned and projects moving forward.
