Job summary

Everwise Credit Union is seeking a Manager, PMO to onboard, coach, and lead a team of professional project managers. You will govern a high-risk portfolio and drive enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives.

The role partners with the Director, Strategic Change Office to mature the project management lifecycle and instill PM as a core organizational capability. You will oversee capacity planning, governance, and continuous improvement of PM standards, with a focus on stakeholder

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in managing projects using Agile or Hybrid
• 2+ years' experience leading teams, projects, or cross-functional initiatives in a PMO environment
• PMP certification preferred
• Able to work outside hours in peak phases of the project when required

Responsibilities

• Manage the capacity and capabilities of the PMO and support the Director
• Ensure project requests are evaluated and documented per PM standards and presented for approval/prioritization
• Develop project management plans including scope, KPI, stakeholder analysis, alternatives, cost analysis and budgets, schedules and resource allocation
• Lead and manage multiple large, time- and resource-constrained cross-functional projects
• Advance PM methodologies to incorporate agile and hybrid practices
• Collaborate with leaders to ensure proper scope, resource allocation and dependencies are addressed on time and within budget
• Mentor, coach, and train other project managers to grow enterprise competency
• Lead PMO reporting on efficiency and deliverables across a large portfolio
• Align stakeholder experience with PMO through improved processes, documentation and surveys
• Assume additional responsibilities for growth of the Credit Union
