Job summary

Frontier Airlines, Inc. seeks an Instructor - OTJTraining in Denver, CO.

This hybrid role combines classroom, field and on‑the‑job training across Frontier’s route system, with travel up to 50%. You will deliver structured OJT for initial and recurrent qualifications, including Airbus systems, run/taxi/radio, ground support and servicing operations, and you will document progress in the Learning Management System.

Qualifications

• FAA Mechanic Certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• Five years of experience in transport-category aircraft maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
• Familiarity with aviation regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to plan and conduct OJT lessons and evaluate technician performance against established standards.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Ability to meet applicable background-check and pre-employment DOT testing requirements.
• Legal eligibility to work in the country where the position is located.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on aircraft maintenance training.
• Deliver initial and recurrent Airbus run/taxi/radio training and qualifications.
• Provide hands-on instruction and qualification for ground support and servicing operations.
• Conduct Airbus aircraft systems, avionics and structures OJT qualification training.
• Plan and conduct OJT lessons and evaluate technician performance against established standards.
• Support Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Apprentice initiatives.
