GBH Archives is offering a part-time paid internship in Boston for a student in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program. The role blends in-person and remote duties, with mentorship from the Metadata Operations Manager. Responsibilities include hands-on cataloging, testing workflows, and contributing to AI-assisted metadata projects.

The internship runs Jan 25 to Apr 16, requiring at least 15 hours per week between 9am–5pm, with a flexible schedule arranged by the intern and manager.

Qualifications

• Experience with asset management or cataloging systems.
• Understanding of archival principles for arrangement, description, and access.
• Interest in data processing or software development; knowledge of Bash/Python is a plus.
