Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Audiovisual Engineer in Irvine to design and coordinate audiovisual systems for diverse markets. You will translate project requirements into coordinated drawings, specs, and reports while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.

The role emphasizes Revit-based design, site surveys, and coordination across disciplines with regular client interaction. A flexible 3-2 office/work-from-home schedule supports travel to project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in AEC consulting or owner-directed consulting is preferred.
• CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consults with clients to analyze current technologies and develop solutions for operational needs.
• Produces coordinated audiovisual design documentation in Revit across project phases.
• Independently completes defined design tasks and coordinates routine issues with guidance on complex systems.
• Tracks scope, schedule, and budget and communicates risks to leadership.
• Designs audiovisual systems and develops plans, diagrams, schedules, and specs.
