Job summary

Driven Brands Inc., operating ATI, seeks a Technical Instructor to elevate technicians in ATI member shops with hands-on and virtual training. You will deliver engaging, technically rigorous instruction and help develop courseware for live and on-demand classes.

Applicants must hold ASE Master Technician and/or ASE L1 certifications, have 7+ years of hands-on automotive experience, strong presentation skills, and be able to travel with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Current ASE Master Technician certification and/or ASE L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist certification.
7+ years of hands-on experience as a professional automotive technician.
Demonstrated diagnostic proficiency across major vehicle systems.
Strong presentation and communication skills; ability to explain complex systems clearly to varied audiences.
Comfort delivering live instruction on virtual platforms.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

Deliver technically accurate instruction to technicians in live formats (in-person shop/lab and virtual).
Adapt delivery to mixed experience levels; ensure attendees gain actionable skills.
Model and enforce safe shop practices during hands-on sessions.
Contribute to development of new technical training content for live and on-demand classes.
Maintain currency of courseware; update as vehicle technology evolves.
Provide structured feedback to inform course content and ATI programs.
